**Responsibilities**

As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they have a welcoming and informative shopping experience. Your key responsibilities include:
**Customer Engagement & Service**
- Greet customers warmly, creating a friendly and approachable atmosphere.
- Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to product-related inquiries and industry trends.
- Able and willing to contribute to customer engagement by participating and creating traction with ongoing promotions in store.

**Sales & Transactions**
- Process transactions accurately and handle customer payments with integrity.
- Maintain accurate sales records and contribute to daily reporting.
- Inform customers about promotions, loyalty programs, and special offers.

**Stock & Store Maintenance**
- Restock shelves and ensure a visually appealing store layout.
- Maintain inventory records and assist in organizing product displays.
- Ensure cleanliness and uphold merchandising standards.

**Product Knowledge & Industry Awareness**
- Previous experience with vaping products is an asset.
- Stay up to date with new products, promotions, and industry regulations.
- Provide thoughtful recommendations to customers based on product knowledge.

**Qualifications**

Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- **Excellent customer service skills**, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- **Strong communication abilities**, including clear explanations of products and promotions.
- **Interpersonal skills** to build rapport with customers and collaborate with colleagues.
- **Keen attention to detail** to ensure accurate transactions and store organization.
- **Problem-solving skills** to efficiently address customer concerns.
- **Adaptability** to thrive in an ever-changing retail setting and engage with diverse customers.
- **Flexibility**to be able to reliably commute to both Hamilton locations dependent on scheduling needs.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
