We are currently seeking an **Inventory Specialist**

Reports to Shipping Coordinator

**Main Job Duties**:

- Responsible for receiving & storing inventory in the warehouse
- Identify, count and tag incoming products/parts
- Manage a system that will ensure accurate tracking of inventory & maintain inventory levels
- Conduct cycle counting
- Process receipts in the inventory database
- Retrieve and distribute inventory & parts to other departments
- Ensure a safe and clean warehouse

**Skills and Attributes**:

- Strong inventory control management skills
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and an inventory management software
- Able to work independently, as well as part of a team, complete team tasks
- Adept at prioritizing work, meet deadlines and can change priorities
- Ability to follow instructions both written and verbal
- Able to problem solve and present new processes
- Great communication with team, other departments and suppliers

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Working knowledge of an inventory management software / ERP system
- At least 1 years of proven experience in managing and maintaining an inventory control system
- Have over a year's experience driving forklift
- Inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset

Position based in Port Coquitlam only.
