Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for analyzing inventory levels, sales data, and vehicle compatibility information to optimise stocking strategies and support business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in analytics within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current inventory levels and sales trends to recommend optimal stocking quantities
- Identify underperforming or obsolete parts for decommissioning based on historical sales and vehicle application data
- Generate and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards to support internal stakeholders
- Meet project deadlines and effectively manage time to support business objectives
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficient in Microsoft excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analytic tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organisation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self motivated and can work both independently and in a team setting once given direction on initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience or internship in Inventory, logistics, or analytics.
- Familiarity with automotive parts or vehicle systems is a plus
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a bonus
