Brantford, Canada Participation Support Services Full time

The manager of operations is responsible for overseeing the daily-to-day scheduling and orientation activities of the Supportive Housing portfolio. The position also oversees maintenance and food service operations at Bell Lane and ongoing training for all programs.

Job Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day scheduling for Supportive Housing sites.
- Motivating, training, and developing staff across various sites and programs.
- Overseeing and coordinating student placements and the Canada Summer Jobs program.
- Overseeing maintenance and food services at 10 Bell Lane.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with community partners to support Hospital to Home initiatives.
- Working collaboratively with other members of the management team - provide on call support after hours
- Participating in after-hours emergency on-call rotation
- Modeling ethical behaviour and managing operations with respect and integrity

**Qualifications**:

- University degree or college diploma in healthcare or social services
- Three years of supervisory/managerial experience in a unionized setting (community services or healthcare).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Clear and up to date (within the past 6 months) Vulnerable Sector Check conducted by the local police service
- Experience with database/client management software (preferably Alayacare).
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and use of a vehicle

Pay: From $32.66 per hour
