Junior Project Manager- Medical Devices

**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Manages all engineering activities with the engineering team and ensures all related activities respect company quality procedures.
First and primary point of contact for all product customers.
Responsible for coordinating all the engineering team planning tools, such as gant charts by customer and project title and ensuring the team keep their deliverables on track.
Coordinates the subcontracting process of new moulds to be manufactured.
Tracks the manufacturing of subcontracted work including drawing revisions / tool modifications.
Manages the purchasing process of tooling and tool services.
Coordinates the Receiving Inspection for the new tooling and /or tool revisions (Master Tool Files)
Collaborates with the engineering team to ensure that the customer P.O. is received and closed out for new and / or modified tooling.
Tracks invoicing and payments for new tools and tool corrections/ modifications.
Organizes the AQP (Advanced Quality Planning) meeting within 1 week of acceptance of customer P.O.
Organizes the Engineering close out meetings.
Maintain healthy and profitable programs (quoting activities).
Other tasks as assigned.

**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:
Engineering degree preferred.
Or equivalent experience as judged by the hiring manager to their satisfaction.

Experience in a highly regulated environment such as ISO 9001and ISO13485
Microsoft Office: Expert level: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Software: Pro-Engineering, Autocad, Solidworks.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:
2 years of experience in the precision plastic injection moulding industry or medical devices manufacturing

Able to work with mínimal supervision.

Manufacturing experience in plastics, ideally injection moulding.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT**:
Precikam's working language is french however an extensive knowledge of English is required in the role due to the need to be able to communicate with customer Q/A departments AND regulatory bodies located outside Quebec.

- quality standards ISO 13485: 2 years (preferred)
