SHELTER is an intimate, upscale cocktail bar. SHELTER is seeking an experienced server to connect with guests, learn about new cocktails, and help us grow.

**Responsibilities**:
Be a responsible, friendly team player.
- Be available weekends and some weekdays for quick pick-up shifts
- Learn, understand, and promote the SHELTER cocktail and food menu to explain it thoroughly to guests
- Ensure adherence to AGLC-mandated drinking standards.
- Maintain a clean, functional and safe environment for patrons and staff.
- Lead and embody our culture, mission, and values.
- To complete other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
Have a basic understanding of cocktails and food, and be a people person.
- Industry and restaurant serving experience is a must, bartending experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong experience with serving and understanding tasting notes and palette and expressing these items to guests.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience providing and receiving direct and honest feedback.
- Responsible, organized, driven, and determined to achieve, lead by example, and improve.
- Experience with POS systems would be an asset.
- Pro-Serve Certified.
