Product Quality Specialist

As a Product Quality Specialist, you will provide technical support to Genomadix’ distributors and customers that will help enhance the overall customer experience, while maintaining the quality and compliance required to support the complaint system in a regulated industry.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Obtain extensive understanding and knowledge of the Genomadix products
- Act as primary contact for customers and distributors regarding technical support and customer complaints
- Analyze field data to determine areas for improvement for product and processes
- Document customer complaints according to ISO 13485 requirements
- Recommend and implement CAPA (corrective actions and preventative actions) to drive continuous product improvement.
- Support investigations and CAPA activities across other departments as needed.
- Cross train in Ensur to act as back up for Quality Specialist; coverage of change controls and supplier qualifications will be part of the cross training.
- Supporting the organization in other tasks as required

**What you bring to the table**:

- Diploma or BSc in Biological Sciences/Biochemistry/Biotechnology or equivalent experience
- Excellent critical thinking skills and are conscientious, organized, and always meet your deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable meeting new people and interacting with groups - you make a great first impression
- The ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Quality Systems (Health Canada Medical Device regulations, ISO 13485 and/or US CFR 820 (FDA) preferred
- Understanding of quality systems: Customer Complaints, Investigations and Corrective Action/Preventative Action
- Superuser in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Effective communication skills and a team player willing to work with everyone to accomplish tasks

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
