**Job Overview**
This role will have you responsible for overseeing our Community Based Child program. This program is a funded program to provide child care to newcomers attending english langauge programs. Travel to private and community based childcare settings throughout the Calgary will be required.

While this is a term assignment to the end of March, there is **potential for an extention** of one year or more.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct cleint intake, ensuring eligibility for the program
- Ensure key funding goals are achieved, including the number of children placed and length of placement
- Assess clients settlement needs, providing support and making appropriate referrasl to other agencies.
- Deliver culturally sensitive workshops related to available childcare services and resources Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Ensure monthly reports are completed and payment of invoices are processed
- Address and resolve any issues related to attendance, withdrawal, subsidies or other concerns with the child care placement

**Qualifications**
- Class 5 Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle for business purposes
- A degree or diploma in Human Services, Social Sciences or related field
- Previous experience coordinating or program administration
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Multi-lingual is an asset

Pay: From $53,851.00 per year
