**Role Summary**

We are seeking **Business Process Analyst** to support the implementation of a new **Curriculum Management System (CMS)**. This project addresses the need to modernize outdated, manual curriculum processes, with the goal of automating workflows, centralizing information, improving decision-making, ensuring compliance, and enhancing administrative efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead business units through the development and approval of business cases.
- Ensure realization of benefits identified in business cases and delivery plans.
- Facilitate business process reengineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document current and future state processes using recognized modeling techniques (e.g., Use Case, Swim Lane, Activity Diagrams, BPMN, DFDs).
- Identify and recommend fundamental process improvements to enhance efficiency and eliminate redundancy.
- Create and secure approval of business requirements documents.
- Define and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including strategy and test case development.
- Develop or support the development of training materials.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to:

- Elicit, verify, validate, and prioritize business requirements.
- Conduct current and future state time-in-motion studies to identify measurable improvements.
- Build out future state processes and standard operating procedures.
- Assess stakeholder impacts and support change management strategies.
- Translate business processes and requirements into technical specifications.
- Facilitate solution design workshops and contribute to implementation.
- Support multi-stage RFP processes with internal stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to align requirements and solutions.
- Establish sustainment metrics to monitor effectiveness of implemented processes.

**Qualifications & Experience**

**Required**:

- Extensive experience in senior-level business process analysis and enterprise solution implementations
- Expertise in process improvement, modeling, and optimization
- Training or certification in process improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through change and transformation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Experience working across multiple business, technical, and vendor teams

**Preferred**:

- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience in post-secondary or public sector environments
- Familiarity with enterprise system implementations
- Background in facilitation, workshop delivery, or trainin

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $60.00-$75.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- business process analysis: 9 years (preferred)
- enterprise solution implementations: 8 years (preferred)
- process improvement, modeling, and optimization: 6 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Edmonton, AB T5H 1R4
