We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to be based out of our Toronto office.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you will oversee payroll and benefits as well as manage the implementation of various Human Resources programs that aim to maximize the employee experience.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage payroll process
- Oversee Canada and USA pension plans enrollments and terminations
- Manage employee benefits transactions
- Responsible for compliance reports
- Manage the recruitment process for assigned roles
- Oversee some employee relations situations ensuring that outcomes respect relevant legislations
- Contribute to the design and development of short term and long Human Resources strategies
- Collaborate with the VP of HR on continuously improving Human Resources processes
- Help facilitate the execution of employee engagement, recognition and retention programs
- Support in Human Resources goals of continuous improvement
- Perform other job duties as required.

Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in a Human Resources
- Previous experience in Payroll, Benefits and Compensation administration; a must
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, professional demeanor and attitude
- Strong team player who has experience working in multi-site environments
- Ability to organize and prioritize work; and manage multiple projects at a time
- Experience in the TV Movies industry; a strong asset
- Bilingualism (English and French), an asset
