Works alongside Restaurant Manager directing staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Maintains standards of restaurant safety and security. Supervises staff for successful operational flow and assist with training program. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completes and posts the staff work schedules.
- Completes paperwork, inventory and food delivery orders accurately and efficiently
- Monitor weekly waste and identify methods to reduce/control waste
- Communicates changes of food preparations formulas, standards, etc. to team.
- Ensure employee handbook, Health and safety awareness course,
harassment policy and safety standard guidelines are all communicated
and completed
- Works with Restaurant Manager to maintain operational
excellence. Helps to develop new hire orientation programs and rewards
programs, monitors training processes to ensure quality training of employees.
- Provides leadership to all staff
- Ensures that correct operational procedures are followed and takes corrective
action if necessary.
- Works with staff to achieve sales goals, using available reports to identify
opportunities.
- Plans special events and promotions.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding business accounts and restaurant
team, not limited to personal information and performance.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $16.52-$18.00 per hour
