Banquet Supervisor

**MontHill Golf & Country Club **needs a high-quality fulltime Banquet Supervisor **(35-44 Hours/week. $24-$26/hr depending on experience**) to manage all aspects of banquet operations and deliver high-level dining experiences to our banquet guests. **Daily duties include but are not limited to**: banquet supervision, including: inventory control, training, scheduling staff, overseeing banquet operations. - **FURTHER RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Collaborate effectively with other department team leaders - Inspire, train, and develop team members - Instill excellent guest service attitudes in all employees with "hands-on" approach - Monitor dining experiences closely and ensure that team members meet member and guest needs and expectations - Work with kitchen staff to make sure food service takes place on schedule - Setting up banquet area as per floor plan specified - Solid scheduling experience and creative thinking - Follow/enforce company policies and procedures - Assume responsibility/accountability and closing duties**QUALIFICATIONS**: - Excellent leadership, communication, organizational skills, and fiscal responsibility - Excellent listening skills and creative problem-solving skills - Strong track record maintaining consistent standards - Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a supervisor or manager in restaurant or event centre settings - Post-secondary degree in Hospitality and Tourism an asset - Must be available on nights, weekends, and some holidays - Full availability during standard golf season (April-Oct.) - **Why Work with us**: MontHill Golf and Country Club, **one of the premier golf destinations in Southern Ontario**, is a distinguished establishment.
