Every day we go above and beyond to deliver innovative solutions to help our clients make important decisions that directly impact the community and the environment. **As a Laboratory Analyst, your main responsibilities are to**: - Analysis of water/soils/food/air impingers/filters for metals using ICP-MS, ICP-OES and/or CVAA. - Under the guidance of Senior Analysts/Supervisor: - Develop and implement new methodology and SOP. - Maintain and update current SOP. - Analyses of water, food, air impingers, filters and soil extracts according to SOP. - Maintain and troubleshoot equipment/methodology and/or processes. - Follow all relevant SOPs and WIS. - Use SAIL and summary reports to plan and organize work. - Follow all laboratory safety rules and regulations. - Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and quality of work. - Keep their work area clean, neat and organized. - Other responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor. **You are the ideal Laboratory Analyst, if you have a**: - Chemical diploma or B.Sc. in Chemistry. - One to two years of ICP or Atomic Absorption experience preferred. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good record keeping skills and attention to detail. - Ability to accurately follow Standard operating Procedures (SOPs) and instructions. - Dynamic, energetic and motivated with a positive outlook, and a "can-do" attitude. **Afternoon shift, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.** Bureau Veritas is a world leader in testing, inspection and certification services.
