Field Service Technician

**About You**

**- **On a mission to provide exceptional customer service and operational skills to support and maintain our Smoothie Machines across the lower mainland.

- A kick-a$$ individual seeking a blend of both a hands-on role where you work on customer sites, alongside some desk work.

**A Day in the Life**
- Operate and service our smoothie vending machines, including but not limited to filling machines with ice, re-stocking puree, cups, lids & straws, changing clean water tanks and wastewater tanks and sanitizing the machines.
- Provide timely updates on product usage, supply requirements and inventory levels relating to Machine operation.
- Conduct on-site tours to inspect facilities, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with our operations.
- Test the smoothie machine prior to sending it to the client (ensure it is updated and set on appropriate settings - this will be a collaborative effort with our tech team).
- Able to respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Running samples to SGS, our lab partners in Vancouver.
- Working closely with the Tech Department to understand tech needs for the smoothie machine; recommend, test and implement service changes and overall improvements to the machines.
- As we expand our operations, helping to build out our customer service and maintenance procedures. Once trained will facilitate training sessions to the team and new hires.
- Available on launch dates to provide samples and engage with people to use our machines/taste our smoothies.
- Promote and participate in Trendi’s Safety Culture.
- Operate company vehicles safely and effectively to service different sites across the Lower Mainland.
- Support and ownership of ad-hoc projects and accountabilities as assigned by the reporting manager.

**What You Bring to the Table**
- Tech-savvy with experience operating and troubleshooting machinery, as well as working with a computer.
- Class 5 Driver’s Licence with clear driving record.
- Critical thinker and problem solver who loves coming up with solutions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work independently without supervision.
- Team-orientated demeanour and must be able to work on-site across the Lower Mainland and work flexible hours as required and requested by the reporting manager.
- Familiarity with our IT systems is considered as asset: Google G-Suite, Vendron, Asana, HubSpot, Nayax, or Slack.
- An adaptable, detail-oriented, and resourceful attitude, with a solutions-driven mindset that thrives in a fast-paced and high-pressure work environment.
- Exceptional communication, follow up and time management skills, with an ability to shift priorities based on evolving business needs.

**Bonus points if you have**:

- Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1.
- Forklift License.
- Food Safe Certification.
- Experience with Unattended Retail Vending Units.
