**What a day at EXP has in store for you**
- Executing on site concrete tests which includes casting cylinders, slump test, and air content tests.
- In Place Density testing using a Nuclear Densometer.
- Carry out asphalt and concrete coring.
- Collecting soil and asphalt samples on site.
- Some in-lab work, such as testing concrete cylinders, grain size analysis, Proctor tests, asphalt tests, geotechnical index testing, etc.
- Subgrade field reviews.
- Problem solving of project site issues.
- Attend staff and project meetings when requested.
- Interaction with clients and contractors to provide excellent service and a quick response to their testing needs.

**What your experience looks like**
- Completion or in process of a qualified Civil Engineering Technology diploma program.
- Should have concrete, asphalt and soil testing exposure and/or experience.
- Must be comfortable working safely in the field on construction sites.
- Must have strong communication and people skills, and ability to work with wide variety of coworkers and clients.
- Must have a valid Canadian driver’s license.
- Must have some MS Office skills.
- Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently is necessary.Must be able to meet deadlines, well organized and able to work under pressure.
