We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
As a Field Service Technician, you will play an instrumental role in our upcoming commercial launch for the Globe® System. In this role, you will work closely with the Quality Engineering Team to ensure that Kardium’s cutting-edge medical devices meet high performance standards.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Visit clinical sites to perform field installation and service activities.
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of service-related quality issues.
- Upgrade and replace products in the field.
- Develop and maintain productive customer relationships
- Provide prompt and efficient support for customer needs.
- Maintain accurate and organized service
- Travel up to 50% to clinical sites within North America and Europe.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

- Bachelor of Science degree (preferred) or a diploma in Engineering Technology (Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical).
- Previous experience as Technician/Field Services within medical device industry.
- Ability to troubleshoot with technical skills, creativity and high discipline.
- Familiarity with most commonly used test equipment (i.e., power supplies, DMM's, signal generators, flow meters, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in a technical documentation.
- Strong, professional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships in the workplace and interface effectively with customers.
- Detail-oriented and capable of performing daily tasks with limited supervision.
- Ability to travel to the US and Europe.

Compensation
As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.
- $88,000 - $102,000 (CAD Annually)
