**Overview**:
We are a new venture with the goal of consolidating healthcare clinics across Canada. We are looking to engage with a part-time Controller who can assist our firm through a series of acquisitions and handle all aspects of financial activities. The Controller will receive **FREE Equity** for this role. Relocation for this role is not required.

**Role Description**

This is a part-time remote role for a Financial Controller at Wholelife Health Group. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, preparing financial statements, and conducting financial analysis. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial strategies and forecasts, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide financial insights to support decision-making processes.

**Qualifications**

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

2. Proven work experience as a Financial Controller in M&A

3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations

4. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

6. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

8. CPA or CMA certification is a plus

9. Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus

**Responsibility**:
1. Set up the books of accounts.

2. Oversee all aspects of financial reporting.

3. Payroll processing.

4. Managing accounts payable.

5. Support CFO and the team in acquisition activities.

6. Review and report financial performance of each clinic vs Proforma / budget.

7. Manage financial reporting requirements for various stakeholders.

8. Co-ordinate tax filings - sales and corporate taxes.

9. Tasks as assigned by CFO and the board.

**Remuneration**:
