The YMCA of Three Rivers is one of the community’s largest non-profit organizations. We are dedicated to the enrichment of our communities through the development of people and families. We provide a variety of programs and services in our community including licenced childcare, swimming lessons, youth & preschool programs and adult fitness to name a few. We create a sense of belonging by helping children, youth and adults cultivate authentic and caring relationships in a safe and nurturing space. Training future lifeguards and delivering quality aquatic programs is where you come in

**What you will do**

**What you will bring**

Ideally, you will bring a minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching and examining lifesaving and/or first aid courses. You are a current Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid Instructor and Examiner
- Standard First Aid. You have current Standard First Aid.

Previous program facilitation with people of all ages is an asset. You are committed to working in a socially inclusive environment responding with sensitivity and personal awareness to diverse needs. Ability to travel to different regions is an asset.

You will have well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with course participants, parents and team members. This position requires your willingness to work flexible hours - mostly evenings and weekends. You will also be required to present a clear, current, Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector screening.
