**Pay Range**:

- ** $32 - $35 per hour (based on experience)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Project Coordination**:

- Coordinate the steel detailing aspects of projects, ensuring all drawings meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Act as the primary contact between internal project managers and subcontractors, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project.
- ** Quality Assurance**:

- Review subcontracted drawings for accuracy, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Work closely with checkers and detailers to verify the quality of drawings before submitting them to customers.
- ** Customer Communication**:

- Communicate with customers regarding project details, especially for time-sensitive projects.
- Ensure that drawings are sent to customers after Project Manager approval as part of the submittal process.
- Prepare RFIs and change orders for the Project Manager’s review and submission.
- ** Submittal and Approval Process**:

- Oversee the submittal process to ensure timely submission of all drawings and related documents to customers.
- Manage the approval process, coordinating with customers to obtain necessary approvals and revisions.
- ** Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain organized records of communications, submittals, and approvals.
- Report on the project status, highlighting any issues or delays, and communicate them to the Detailing Department Manager and project managers.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of **5 years of experience** in Structural Steel detailing and project coordination.
- Experience with detailing software such as **AutoCAD**, **Advance Steel**, **Tekla**, **Revit**, or similar tools.
- Strong **project management** skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent **communication** skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- High attention to **detail** and **organizational skills**.
- Ability to **work under pressure** and meet tight deadlines.
- Problem solving and team collaboration are key competencies for this role.
