**JOB SUMMARY**

The Restaurant Floor Manager is primarily responsible for providing the guests with a consistently high-quality dining experience. You will need to motivate all restaurant staff including servers, bartenders, in-room dining and support staff while demonstrating superior customer service skills. You will work alongside staff, assisting with all aspects of service including clearing tables and managing the reception of guests and wait lists. You will help the team meet its standards of quality and profitability. You will ensure that all health and safety requirements and food handling guidelines are met or surpassed. Your keen attention to detail will ensure consistency and the impeccable representation of our restaurant across all services.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

This position is responsible for the following tasks:

- Delegating staff throughout the shift to ensure efficient service
- Supervising the delivery of food and drinks
- Ensuring prompt and friendly customer service
- Maintaining quality and service standards
- Ensuring all staff are knowledgeable about all menu offerings as well as individual ingredients and allergens.
- Assisting staff with wine service and pairing recommendations
- Ensure staff follow allergen protocol and allergy awareness including how to make customers aware of these ingredients.
- Reducing operational costs
- Increase productivity
- Ensuring all staff follow strict personal safety, food safety and food storage guidelines
- Managing and maintaining restaurant cleanliness to meet regulatory sanitation and hygiene standards
- Managing inventory and communicating stock levels to the appropriate staff or managers
- Interacting with restaurant guests to gauge satisfaction and improve customer service
- Responding to customer feedback and resolving conflicts effectively
- Operating the point-of-sale system processing payments, and authorizing refunds, voids or service recovery
- Ensuring all restaurant staff meet service expectations
- Understanding and supporting each classification within the restaurant
- Receiving and arranging group reservations and delegating staff as needed
- Conducting to motivate and ensure staff are meeting restaurant standards and expectation and communicating information important to shift such as daily specials
- Some administrative duties related to the restaurant's operation
- Other tasks as required

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Management experience in the restaurant industry
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Physical ability to remain standing for a long period of time
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Conflict resolution and problem solving skills
- Sommelier and bartending experience
- Basic cooking technique awareness and food knowledge
- Competency in styles of service
- Coaching and leadership skills
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Smart Serve Certificate
- Food Handling Certificate

**Education Requirements**
- High school diploma or GED
