**Who we are**:
**Loader Operator Profile**:

- Inspecting equipment prior to the commencement and conclusion of each shift, completing all daily maintenance and operating log reports.
- Loading and unloading all organics waste products and materials into shredders, mixers, screening systems, and compost processing vessels.
- Maintaining a clean working environment and promoting individual and team commitment to OH&S best practices.
- Identifying and reporting any equipment deficiencies to the Operations Manager.
- Actively participating in daily toolbox meetings and scheduled staff, OH&S and Environmental training programs, and other related meetings.
- Actively participating in housekeeping and labour duties.
- Safely performing other duties as assigned.

**Operating Equipment**:
The Loader Operator will be required to operate a variety of large equipment in an efficient and safe operating manner including but not limited to the following:

- Volvo L150H.
- Komptech Multi Star Screen Plant.
- Komptech Terminator - Shredder.
- Skid Steer and attachments.
- Scissor/ Boom Lifts, other related equipment
- Air handling systems.

**Qualifications and Attributes**
- A minimum of 2 years of experience operating a Front-end loader or similar heavy equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Landfill, recycling, and organic composting experience is considered an asset.
- Basic computer and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.

**Working Conditions**:

- Hours will be 44 regular hours per week with the exact shifts to be determined.
- Occasional Saturday shifts.
- Inclement weather working inside and outside.
