**Position Summary**:
Leads and promotes the integration of computer and communications technologies and clinical change initiatives that automate and/or enhance evidence-based clinical practices, access to client information and clinical documentation via an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
**As a health and wellness organization, the First Nations Health Authority has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Consults with First Nations Communities and FNHA’s eHealth and Innovation team in order to understand data collection and reporting needs.
- Partners with First Nations Communities and FNHA’s eHealth and Innovation team on actions to support EMR implementation and address implementation issues.
- Ensures EMR implementation aligns with community specific data and governance rules while meeting the Ministry mandate of health information collection and use.
- Collaborates with inter-disciplinary clinical teams to ensure system functionality meets end-user needs by translating clinical processes and workflows into technology solutions.
- Evaluates, plans, implements, tests, maintains, and supports complex, integrated information systems in support of clinical needs.

**Qualifications**:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Operations Research, Health Care or equivalent discipline.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience implementing and/or supporting integrated clinical system environments.
**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**:
- Knowledge of primary care / urgent care electronic medical records environments and understanding of how such systems can integrate with larger acute care clinical information systems.
- Knowledge of data stewardship best practices, including OCAP® and FPIC.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau and Denodo) to present systems data.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods to assess health programs and services.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with community, executive leadership and external vendors.
