As the HR Specialist you will provide support and input to employees, managers, and the HR team in various areas, including performance management, talent management, compensation planning, engagement, employee and organizational matters, HR systems and processes. You will assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
**Responsibilities**:
- Execute projects and provide data analytics services.
- Accountable for project plans, action items, directing and influencing Management to complete milestones and tasks. i.e. - Talent Management and Development, Talent Acquisition, Turnover, Headcount, HR Data, etc.
- Capture, connect, and analyze HR data and provide executive summaries related to the analysis.
- Serve as HR point of contact for employee matters ranging from general inquiries to investigations.
- Serve as Payroll Administrator for Prollenium Canada and other countries as needed, ensuring data integrity, and compliance with payroll policy and guidelines.
- Maintain and provide support regarding Group Benefits and Retirement Plan.
- Deliver company communications related to Human Resources and company policies, rule and regulations.
- Administers HR policies and programs as appropriate.
- Manage communications and execution of annual processes as well as specific business processes i.e.: the performance management, training materials, and other ongoing talent initiatives.
- Become an expert power user in HR systems, reporting, and data to provide support to Management and CHRO.
- Lead site coordination of HR related events such as benefits, wellness, employee experience, etc.
- Facilitate Hire to Exit initiatives including on-boarding, leave management and off-boarding processes.
- Other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years HR experience required including experience the following disciplines: employee relations, benefits administration, leave administration, HR policy interpretation formulation, HR data processing, training facilitation, HR reporting, and or payroll administration.
- Strong proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Teams.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels on the organization.
- Must be able to manipulate large amounts of data, formulate data into easy to read formats and be comfortable telling a story and provide insights with that data.
- Must have demonstrated strategic and innovative thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills while at the same time always be open to fulfilling organizational transactional and administrative duties.
