Ottawa, Canada Ottawa Institute of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Full time

The Ottawa Institute of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (OICBT) is looking for a registered Social Worker (BSW) to work with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health difficulties (e.g., mood and anxiety problems, life stressors, emotion dysregulation, addiction, etc.). The primary role of this position will be to aid in triaging clients and conducting screening calls and intake assessments with clients who are looking to receive diagnostic and/or therapy services. The successful applicant will be involved in the ongoing clinical management of our referrals and will work in collaboration with the administrative and clinical teams at the OICBT. Duties may also include the drafting of assessment reports to be reviewed by senior clinicians.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in social work (BSW)
- Registered (or eligible to be registered) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Experience using intake and assessment tools
- Ability to work independently and with members of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience keeping electronic files and working with a data base

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Fluent in French

The OICBT is a private practice that was founded in 2009. Most of our therapists have been involved in hospital-based practice and have received in-depth training in the delivery of evidence-based treatments. Our goal is to meet the needs of our clients by offering individual, group and home

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
