**Ground Worker Description**:
As a Ground Worker in a tree company, you play a vital role in supporting the tree care and maintenance operations. Your primary responsibilities include assisting tree climbers and crew leaders to ensure safe and efficient removal, pruning, and care of trees and shrubs.

Key Duties:

- **Site Preparation**: Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring all safety measures are in place before tree work begins.
- **Assisting Climbers**: Provide ground support to tree climbers during tree trimming or removal by securing ropes, pulling branches away from power lines, and handling equipment as directed.
- **Equipment Handling**: Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for tree work, such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.
- **Debris Management**: Collect and remove branches and other debris from the work site, ensuring a clean and organized environment throughout the day.
- **Tree Care**: Participate in planting, watering, and caring for trees and shrubs, helping to promote healthy growth.
- **Maintenance Duties**: Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure everything is in good working condition.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself, your team members, and the public.
- **Communication**: Maintain clear communication with team members, following instructions and conveying any potential hazards on the job site.

Work Environment:
Ground Workers typically work outdoors in various weather conditions and may be required to work in physically demanding situations, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
