**What Will You Do?**
- Responsible for the rating of customer shipments as assigned by supervisor.
- Ability to quote any book rates to customers. Be aware of customer product requirements and Erb Transport requirements. Use the Solomon computer tool of customer rate quotations as required. Use guidelines set out for quotations of trailer loads. Pass on information to supervisor when more than book rates are required.
- Have an understanding of the potential in customer rate inquiries for future business growth.
- Have an understanding of equipment capabilities and capacities in order to quote accurate rates to customer i.e. Straight truck weights, variety of trailers, load to go (same day services) etc.
- Understanding of Customer Portals ie BluJay.
- Be aware of month end deadline procedures and assist in the department's monthly clean-up of unrated pros. Responsible for reserving and voiding the number of required pro bill stickers needed for month end.
- Take on extra responsibilities during vacation time within the department.
- Willing to learn all aspects of the Billing Department
- All other duties as required.

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office is required, AS400 experience is an asset.
- Accuracy and attention to detail; working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask.
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Good communication skills as customer service are a priority
- Geographical knowledge would be an asset
- Proven mathematical skills would be an asset
- Good understanding of Customer Portals i.e. BluJay
- Good understanding of Erb customer base
