**Position Overview**:
Avidbots is a robotics company with a vision to bring robots to everyday life to expand human potential. Our ground-breaking product, the Neo autonomous floor scrubbing robot, is deployed around the world and trusted by leading facilities and building service companies. Headquartered in Kitchener, ON, Canada, Avidbots is offering comprehensive service and support to customers on 5 continents.
To support our growth we are seeking a Receiver/Material to join our operations team. This role reports to the Purchasing Manager.
This position is based on-site full-time in our Kitchener facility
**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries
Receive raw materials shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
Unload packages from incoming trucks
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
Verify packages according to packing slip and purchase order (quantity, quality, etc.) and execute electronic receipt in Epicor with accurancy
Move raw material to assigned locations
Maintain accurate inventory locations and create new locations if needed
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
Help in packing Robots for outbound shipments to our customers
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and eliminate all safety hazards
Other tasks as required
**Requirements**:
Proven experience as receiver/material handler or similar position
Experience in a manufacturing environment for automotive, automation, or industrial products
Valid Forklift Certification and experience in operating forklifts
Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
Experience with ERP Systems (Epicor is an asset)
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
Excellent organizational skills
Great communication and interpersonal abilities
Able to multitask
Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include criminal/civil background checks
