Currently, we seek motivated and mechanically inclined individuals for our manufacturing location.

**Material Handler DAYS Shirley Drive, Kitchener**

**HOURS: DAY - Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 4:30pm**

**Duties Include**:

- Safe and focused operation of the lift truck at all times.
- Loading & unloading for receiving and shipping.
- Weighing of parts upon receiving when necessary.
- Storage of parts in all areas.
- Movement of in process bins.
- Verify part count when shipping and receiving.
- Supply parts to machines when required.
- Tag receiving bins/containers with material tags.
- Empty chip bins.
- Perform other duties when assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- previous Lift Truck certification required
- previous overhead crane experience an asset
- minimum 2 years of related experience in facilities and machine shop
- Self-motivated team player with ability to work in multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment at times.
- Punctual, reliable, strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

**Physical Demands**:

- Required to carry out routine, repetitive tasks such as reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, lifting, packing, stacking, bending, climbing / descending / going under or on equipment as well as some physical lifting.
- Regularly exposed to noise, temperature change and lubricants and vibration.
- Wears all PPE as required.
