Our team is built on five core values: Client Focus, Employee Success, Integrity and Trust, a "Can-Do" Attitude, and a commitment to Working Safe and Smart **Job Summary**: **Roles and Responsibilities**: As a **Seasonal Snow Removal Labourer**, your primary duties will be: - **Equipment Management**: Conduct routine inspections to ensure all tools and mechanical equipment are in good working order and are properly maintained and secured at the end of each shift. - **Safety and Compliance**: Consistently adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures (SWP/SJP). Actively participate in Toolbox Meetings, complete necessary safety documentation (e.g., vehicle/equipment inspections, incident/near miss reports), and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). **Qualifications and Requirements**: - **Availability and Reliability**: Must possess the flexibility and commitment to work irregular hours and respond quickly and reliably, often on short notice, as dictated by weather conditions. This includes extensive availability for early morning, daytime, and weekend shifts, as well as statutory holidays. - **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform strenuous manual labour in cold, snowy, and icy conditions, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods. - **Transportation**: Must have reliable personal transportation to and from our shop located at 20924 100 Ave NW. - **Safety Focus**: Demonstrated strong commitment to workplace health and safety principles. - **Assets**: - Prior experience in snow removal or general outdoor labour - A valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract. - Experience driving trucks while hauling trailers. **Work Environment**: - Work in an outdoor environment, where the employee will be exposed to a variety of weather conditions, including cold, wind, rain, and snow. **Why Park landscaping?** - Competitive Wages. - Structured training and development to support career growth. - Opportunities for transition to full-time roles, which include year-round employment, comprehensive benefits, and RRSP matching. **Job Type**: Seasonal Contract length: 5 months Pay: From $21.00 per hour Work Location: In person
