**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate snow plow trucks and other snow removal equipment effectively during winter weather conditions.
- Build and maintain safe driving conditions by clearing snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and sidewalks.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for snow removal tasks as needed.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as digging, irrigating, and maintaining gardens in non-winter months.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met.
- Respond promptly to weather changes and adjust operations accordingly to meet community needs.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts efficiently.

**Experience**
- Proven experience operating snow plow trucks or similar heavy machinery is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices is a plus, including the use of hand tools and power tools for gardening tasks.
- Previous experience in outdoor work environments is beneficial, particularly in adverse weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license is required; a commercial driver's license (CDL) may be preferred depending on the specific operational requirements.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
- CSTS (preferred)
- WHMIS Certification (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
