As part of our team, you’ll join leaders in the flooring and tile industry, serving a diverse clientele, including residential customers, multi-family communities, builders, contractors, and government agencies.
**Job Overview**:
As a Sales Representative at Atmosphere Flooring Solutions, your main focus will be developing new relationships through account generation and maintaining existing clients. You’ll collaborate with homeowners, contractors, and property managers throughout the entire project, from initial store visits to final completion. While a general knowledge of flooring materials and installation methods is beneficial, thorough expertise in flooring types or processes is not necessary. Training on materials and installation methods, along with Atmosphere’s software, will be provided. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment are essential.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Greet new customers** warmly.
- **Maintain consistent contact** with new and existing customers through prospecting, sales calls, and showroom consultations.
- **Meet and exceed sales forecasts**.
- **Build and manage relationships** with key clients and attend networking events regularly to create new opportunities.
- **Participate in product knowledge, sales, and installation-related training**.
- **Create quotes for customers** using information gathered during store consultations and site/home surveys.
- **Follow up persistently** until the sale is close.
**Qualifications**
- **Exceptional interpersonal skills** with a strong ability to empathize with clients.
- **Highly adaptable, self-motivated, dedicated, and persistent**.
- **Strong customer service mentality** with the ability to empathize with clients.
- **Proficient in typing**, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
- **Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel**.
- **Excellent organizational and time management skills**.
- **Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new company software**.
**Commission/Payment Structure**
An Inside Sale Representative will be paid an hourly rate + bonus commission based on the completed job Net Profit. Hours less government deductions are paid bi-weekly and will be directly deposited. Bonus commission less government deductions will be payable on job completion.
