This position involves (but not limited to):

- Assist with completion of topographical surveys and construction layouts of underground services, roads, and grading;
- Operate and maintain survey equipment including levels, Collecting data using GPS /Total station and or other standard appropriate surveying techniques

Skills that are preferred but not nessasry
- You have strong knowledge and use of GPS and Total Station for Topographic Surveying, ground modeling and precision stake out as well as AutoCad experience
- Post-secondary education in Surveying, Geomatics or Civil Engineering.
- You have strong knowledge of all other general surveying techniques & equipment, laser, leveling, string lines, etc
- Knowledge of survey practices and standards.

Skills that would be an asset for this position
- You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and sharing your best practices with the project team
- Strong computer skills and proficient in the use of office, data, surveying, and engineering-based software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of engineering design and survey methods.
- GPS and total station experience required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Available to travel to various projects.

**Salary**: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
