Edmonton, Canada Food For Thought Catering Full time

Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and oversee daily catering bookings, focusing on our long term corporate clientelle.
- Collaborate with clients to determine their specific event needs and preferences
- Create customized menus based on client preferences and dietary restrictions
- Quality check of food preparation and presentation to ensure high quality and customer satisfaction
- Manage catering staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Monitor (some) inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during food preparation and service
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event to exceed client expectations
- Extensive training will be provided

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in catering or event planning is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, and vendors
- Knowledge of food preparation
- Familiarity with the Edmonton and surrounding area to prepare timely delivery lists
- Understanding of catering operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of invoicing using Simply Accounting

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
