**Main and Local** was established in 2014 and has grown quickly since then. We originally took Canadian cities’ most interesting landmarks, foods & icons and turned them into Souvenirs That Don’t Suck. Since then, we have expanded to the US, and even created new in-house brands. From uniquely packaged socks (_Out of the Sox _) to elevated gift boxes found at your local Winners or Marshalls, our products are **fun**, **clever** and **unexpected**. They are sold in big-name stores like TJ Maxx, Indigo, Barnes & Noble, and many more. In order to keep growing and expanding, we are currently looking for a creative and motivated Sourcing Lead. **Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Manage the procurement process for materials and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels using MRP systems.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities in SAP systems for reporting purposes.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors to facilitate communication and resolve any issues that may arise.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sourcing or procurement roles within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and vendor management principles.
- Proficiency in using SAP or similar ERP systems for procurement activities.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to assess pricing structures and market conditions effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes is a plus but not required.
