**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure a safe working environment is maintained while managing safety performance
- Manage afternoon shift workflow of both the warehouse and packaging operations to ensure continued operations as planned with day shift supervision.
- Supervise the hourly workforce on afternoon shift including performance management and capability development, scheduling and effective administration of the collective bargaining agreement (unionized occupational workforce)
- Monitor and manage key business and performance measures for the area team
- Responsible for TLM (Total Loss Management) leadership within the Area Team
- Will be required to backfill for the day shift and Production and Warehouse Supervisor as needed

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum of three years of experience in a warehouse, logistics environment or packaging environment

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Formal supervisory experience is as asset
- Experience in a production, distribution or warehouse facility is preferred

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Demonstrated ability to direct, motivate and lead team members in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to deliver timely and effective results while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints
- Solid computer skills, particularly in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (both Word and Excel)
- Strong supervisory skills
- Strong multi-tasking, decision making and problem solving skills in a fast paced environment
- Ability to build constructive relationships and work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated coaching and facilitation skills
- Displays integrity and trustworthiness
- Displays commitment to quality and continuous improvement

**PREFERRED SKILLS**:

- Knowledge of Warehouse, logistics and/or high speed packaging lines

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:
Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs., pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs., perceiving color differences. Job conditions may require twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching or grasping, and working in confined spaces as permitted.
