**_The Production Supervisor is responsible for supporting, training, and engaging our production team members and developing a continuous improvement culture. _**

This role will be working closely with our Operations Managers and shop Group Leaders to ensure efficient labor planning and production scheduling. Eurorite is a Union Shop.

**Additional responsibilities will be**:

- Lead up to 25 direct reports, with personal touchpoints to each member at least twice/year for coaching and development
- Review and manage production schedules, setting capacity expectations, managing exceptions, ensure balanced demand, and expedite requests without intervention from Operations Managers
- Reviewing and managing labour schedules to ensure efficient allocation of resources
- Develop, measure, and regularly report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for assigned processes
- Help in developing training programs to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient production processes.
- Analyze current operations and make strategic suggestions for improvement
- Involve key shop members in Continuous Improvement projects, building a strong team culture
- Leading the production team - by presence and example, working alongside and holding regular toolbox talks
- Expedite orders through the shop, communicating with Client Services/Sales on exceptions
- Set, communicate, measure, and monitor benchmarks and SMART goals to improve KPIs
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Serve on inter-departmental cross-functional teams to evaluate operations and policies
- Conduct regular reviews with key shop staff - focus on personal training and development to strengthen the team
- Assist with writing and updating department procedures (SOPs)
- Managing team member payroll hours, time-off requests, and other labour scheduling duties

**Education, Experience, and Skills required for this position**:

- Degree or Diploma in Wood Products Processing or Operations Management
- **Experience leading teams of up to 25 people**:

- Experience in a manufacturing setting - kitchen cabinet experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
