Our busy, pediatric clinic is seeking a professional, enthusiastic and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our team in Toronto. The Medical Receptionist provides primary clerical and administrative support to health care providers to deliver optimal, high-quality patient and family-centred pediatric care.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain a positive attitude and work cohesively with fellow team members to promote trust, respect and cooperation
- You will serve as the first impression for our patients, greeting patients upon arrival and register and confirm relevant details (i.e. health card number, contact information, etc.)
- Book appointments and register new patients into the electronic medical records program (EMR)
- Prepare patient rooms for physician visits and replenish with medical supplies
- Process incoming and outgoing physician referrals
- Assist with maintaining inventory of medical and office supplies
- Manage supply and storage of vaccines, ensuring compliance with public health unit regulations

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Successful completion of a Medical Administration program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of reception/administrative experience in a clinical, healthcare, or customer service environment required; previous experience in a pediatric clinic preferred
- Excellent organization, reliability, attendance, punctuality and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent writing, verbal and analytical skills
- Demonstrated achievement of good working relationships with previous colleagues
- Exceptional conflict management skills, focusing on customer service at all times
- Professional, compassionate, positive, motivated, solution-oriented and flexible
