**Company Overview**
Our dental office at Yonge and Finch, is looking for a dedicated full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team and help maintain our commitment to excellence.
**Summary**
As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a key role in managing the front desk operations of our busy dental office. This position requires flexibility with hours, including evenings and alternating Saturdays, and proficiency in both written and oral English. Your positive attitude and ability to multitask will contribute significantly to our patient experience.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage patient appointments and maintain an organized schedule.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
- Handle electronic medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and insurance verification.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk area.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist and some dental experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Romanian speaking is an asset.
- Proficient in using computers and phone systems.
Pay: $16.55-$24.52 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
