We are looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator (Contractor) to join our team and help develop a successful social media strategy. You will work with the Performance and Brand Marketing teams in order to maximize engagement and amplify our brand.

You are

The marketing group functions as a brand protector, strategic partner, revenue generator, customer advocate, and service provider for the organization. The Social Media Coordinator will launch social media campaigns, and work closely with the broader marketing and design team.

Please note the preference for this role is located remotely from anywhere in Canada, or in our beautiful head office in Victoria, BC.

What you will do

Support high-quality social media campaigns across multiple social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Maintain social media profiles for Checkfront, including monitoring and responding to comments and inquiries
Facilitate online conversations with our ecosystem of partners, customers and prospective buyers through their social media channels
Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, such as promotions and competitions
Track and report on performance of social media channels, including engagement, impressions, and conversions
Iterate and optimize campaign content based on insights and market trends
Collaborate with designers and content specialists to create engaging text, image and video content
Create and manage a social media calendar for Checkfront
Research and analyze competitor’s social media strategies
Support other digital marketing efforts as required
Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices

You bring with you most of the following

Experience in multiple social media platforms
Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics)
Well organized with strong communication skills - written and verbal
Highly organized and detail oriented, and can work independently with mínimal supervision
