Accounts Receivable and Collections Officer

We are an established construction company in the Lower Mainland looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable and Collections Officer. If you are a great multi-tasker with strong attention to detail, enjoy speaking to customers on the phone, and like doing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment, then we invite you to apply
**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Handling incoming calls and assisting customers with their enquiries
- Processing credit card payments and receipts and making bank deposits
- Invoicing
- Managing billing cycles for outstanding accounts, keeping complete records of all accounts in the system, and preparing statements of outstanding accounts to customers
**What You Bring**:
- At least 2 years’ office experience
- Great phone presence - warm, friendly, and strong English-speaking skills
- Effective written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office software - Excel, Outlook, Word
- Experience with accounting software
- Data entry proficiency, combined with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and handle deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Resourceful, great follow-through skills, and an exceptionally helpful attitude
**Schedule**
Full-time, 9-5, Monday - Friday
**Experience**:
- Accounts Receivable: 2 years (preferred)
- Accounting software: 1 year (required)
- AR Collections experience an asset
Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

**Experience**:
- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
