That’s why we need your expertise and passion to complete our team **The role we are offering you**: - Be a part of the Proposals Team (new deliveries) responsible for the coordination, execution, management and delivery of winning proposals. - Identifying CAE discriminators that increase the probability of win. - Responsible for proposals for a specific region and/or business unit and work in close collaboration with the sales team and/or business devlopement team. - Reviewing solicitation documents (RFP, RFI, etc.) to understand the proposal deliverables, capture the customer’s needs, and translate them into winning themes. - Defining the proposal strategy to address customer requirements in the most cost effective manner, while leveraging CAE core technologies and off the shelf products. - Using influence to secure the support from the various organizations within the required timeframe. - Leading the preparation and presenting proposal reviews to management. - Developing timely, quality proposals in line with customer requirements, while promoting reuse and consistency across bids. - Interfacing with Sales, Marketing, PM, and other engineering functions during the preparation and validation of the proposal. - Preparing cost basis of estimates and cost comparisons in support of cost analysis and justification. - Ensuring program risks are identified, quantified and recommend mitigation plans. - Capturing the feedback from project execution teams to continuously improve proposals. - Preparing program schedules in collaboration with Program Management. - Validating the workload distribution with colleagues of the team and negotiating priorities with the sales team. - Interfacing occasionally with customers and presenting technical solution. - Supporting growth and improvement initiatives as required. - Bachelor of engineering or equivalent experience. - Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering (or equivalent) in the aerospace industry. - Ability to quickly learn, understand and breakdown complex, high-tech systems with multiple hardware and software components. - Ability to work on multiple task in parallel with mínimal supervision and under pressure. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to challenge the technical solutions, costs and schedules to ensure optimal and winning proposal. - Result-oriented, innovative and creative. - Good organizational skills and business acumen. - Ability to deal with ambiguity, customer focused, with excellent decision making and negotiation skills. - Knowledge of data and parts procurement process. - People management and/or project management is an asset. - Interest in the field of Simulation Product sales is an asset. - General knowledge of Civil product and services, hardware and software production process. - General knowledge of flight simulators. - Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
