The Lazy Gourmet is an award-winning catering and events company, and we are looking for fantastic individuals to join our team. Quality ingredients, sustainability and the highest level of service have been ingrained in the DNA of the Company since 1979.
We are looking for dedicated, friendly, hardworking and positive people to join our team.
- A valid B.C. driver's license (preferred)
- Weekday, daytime / evening availability
- Serving it Right Certification
- Banquet or restaurant serving experience
- Strong attention to detail and a keen sense of urgency
- Ability to prioritize and work calmly under pressure
- To work independently as well as with your team to execute a flawless event
- Availability for weekdays, weekends, and possibly early mornings
- Ability to lift up 50 lbs

You should have a basic knowledge of cocktails and be able to make martinis, mixed drinks and special cocktails (recipes would be provided). Many of our bars are wine and beer menus.

Keeping a clean and well stocked bar and working at a fast pace to serve guests are key requirements for this position. You must be capable of managing your bar station without supervision, and competent to run it independently.

Duties for both servers and bartenders include, but are not limited, to set-up and tear down of events, varied levels of service from cocktail events, buffet and plated dinner service.
