Job Summary:
A College Administrator is responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing the daily operations of the college. This role ensures that academic programs, student services, and administrative functions operate efficiently and align with the institution’s mission and goals. The administrator will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to create a supportive learning environment and foster academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Academic Program Management**:

- Collaborate with faculty and department heads to plan, develop, and enhance academic programs.
- Ensure programs meet accreditation standards and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate academic outcomes and work on program improvements.
- **Admissions and Enrollment**:

- Oversee the admissions process, ensuring transparency and accessibility.
- Develop strategies to attract and retain a diverse student population.
- Coordinate enrollment and registration processes, managing schedules, and resource allocation.
- **Budgeting and Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage the college's budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Monitor expenditures and manage financial resources in alignment with institutional goals.
- Seek opportunities for funding through grants, partnerships, and other revenue-generating activities.
- **Student Affairs and Support Services**:

- Oversee student services, including counseling, career guidance, housing, and extracurricular activities.
- Develop policies and programs that support student well-being and academic success.
- Address student issues, complaints, and disciplinary matters in a fair and constructive manner.
- **Personnel and Faculty Coordination**:

- Manage hiring, training, and development for administrative and support staff.
- Work with faculty to ensure effective communication and collaboration between departments.
- Facilitate professional development programs and performance evaluations.
- **Compliance and Policy Development**:

- Ensure college operations are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with institutional standards and goals.
- Stay updated on educational regulations and ensure institutional policies reflect current best practices.
- **Campus Operations and Facilities Management**:

- Oversee campus facilities, ensuring a safe, accessible, and productive environment.
- Coordinate with maintenance, security, and other service departments to address campus needs.
- Manage space allocation and resource scheduling for classrooms, labs, and other facilities.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: Master’s degree in Educational Administration, Higher Education, Business Administration, or **Related field** **Experience**.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in higher education administration, with experience in budget management, program development, and student services.
- **Skills**:

- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and manage diverse teams.
- Proficiency in budget management, policy development, and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of higher education laws, accreditation processes, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Attributes:

- Experience with accreditation processes and regulatory compliance in higher education.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex situations involving students, staff, and external partners.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Work Environment:

- Full-time position, typically on-campus with regular office hours.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak academic times.

This role is essential in ensuring that the college operates smoothly, meets its educational objectives, and provides a positive environment for students and staff alike.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
