**Overview**:
The **Business Intelligence Analyst **is responsible for conducting thorough data analysis, helping to design and implement analytics programs, generating reports, and collaborating with various teams to ensure we are optimizing our resources and maximizing our market share.

**Here's what you will do as a Business Analyst at Spark Power**:

- Defining report requirements and providing simplified explanations to key stakeholders
- Collaborating regularly with various departments and operational teams to develop analytical solutions
- Develop, utilize and launch dashboards & reports effectively
- Develop, analyze, and recommend process modifications, data structures, and models
- Definition and communication of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with respective functional departments
- Comprehension and communication of common corporate business processes working in collaboration respective end users to identify and suggest process efficiencies.
- Assist in translating business requirements into detailed business and technical needs
- Coordinating with IT & IS department to implement new data connectivity
- Make data-driven decisions and recommendations and support the development of action plans and aide in accountability
- Maintain objectivity at all times to ensure processes, products and solutions are aligned and consistent with Spark's systems and technologies
- Raise and escalate any issues and concerns with ITS management and/or business process owners
- Develop and maintain documentation, best practices and guidelines.

**Do you have the Spark? Here's what we are looking for**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required. Additional certifications are an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in analytics or relevant field
- Understanding of complex business and financial data and processes
- Excellent ability to collaborate with all levels within the IT and Business organization.
- Ability to assimilate, analyze and facilitate information sharing.
- Excellent interaction skills and an ability to manage deliverables across multiple projects and multiple locations in a deadline driven environment.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated success working in a team-based environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability
- Organized, diligent, and able to track and manage multiple streams of information on an ongoing basis
