**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- College Diploma in Social Services.
- Minimum two years working experience in addictions and behavioral counseling.
- Experience and knowledge of addictions - including treatment modalities and pharmacology; mental health services; case management
- including assessment, goal setting, individual and group counseling.
- Must be able to work in emotionally charged environment at time characterized by high stress.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a large and diversified workload with often rapidly changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability in community and conflict management.
- Experience in delivery of psycho-educational sessions and process groups required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
- Evidence of effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, judgment and decision making skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Flexible, self-directed and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision.
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Proficient in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
