Yeti Property Maintenance is a trusted provider of snow removal and ice management services. We are committed to keeping our clients’ properties safe, clear, and accessible throughout the winter season. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to lead the Calgary sidewalk crew during snow events.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, supervise and work with a crew performing snow removal on commercial and residential sidewalks
- Safely operator a company vehicle in poor winter driving conditions to pickup team members and transport them between sites
- Operate snow removal equipment (backpack blower, snow sweeper and snow blowers) as needed
- Ensure crew follows safety protocols and company procedures
- Upload service pictures to company App for each site. You must have data on your phone in order to use the App.
- Assign tasks and monitor progress to meet service requirements and deadlines
- Communicate with supervisor for scheduling, updates, and problem resolution
- Perform basic maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or property staff
- Available to work on-call and on short notice.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in snow removal is preferred but not required
- Previous crew lead/supervisor experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to operate snow removal equipment safely and efficiently
- Must have a reliable AWD or 4x4 vehicle to get yourself to and from work. City transportation is not an acceptable form of transportation due to the delays they experience during snow fall events
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a clean drivers abstract in order to operate company vehicle
- Willingness to work long/irregular hours, including early morning, weekends, and holidays during snow events
- Ability to work outdoors in cold and extreme weather conditions
- Must have proper winter work gear: we work in temperatures that range from 10 Celsius to -40 Celsius

Compensation & Benefits:

- Competitive hourly wages: The starting wage is $30 per hour. Effective crew leaders can make up to $35 per hour depending on their performance.
- Payment periods: Employees are paid on the 15th and the last day of each month. Cut off is the 8th and 23rd of each month. Payments are sent via e-transfer
- Opportunity for recurring seasonal work
