About The Opportunity:_**
As the Manager of Information and Systems Technology Services, you will lead the strategic planning and implementation of Information and Systems Technology solutions, ensuring that investment in technology enables the provision of effective, secure, and fiscally responsible services to the citizens and staff of the City of Prince George. The Manager leads a staff of professionals and multiple service providers and is recognized as a leader in the introduction of e-government services and other client centric solutions that improve customer service and provide efficiencies in the delivery of municipal services.
**_About Your Background:_**
You have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline as well as a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in the Information and Technology Systems management field. An advanced understanding of information technology architectures, trends, industry directions, and product capabilities is required. Significant leadership experience is also required, preferably in a unionized environment. Municipal experience, as well as certifications in Project Management, Process Improvement and Cyber Security, are considered assets.
