**About the Role**:
Conexiom is looking to fill the Accounting Technician role in Vancouver, BC. As a Accounting Technician on our Finance team, you will enjoy variety in your responsibilities and support a multi-national accounting function.

**Duties**:

- Maintaining Financial Records for the accounts receivable and revenue department:

- Reporting for senior finance team including AR aging analysis and cash collections performance evaluation.
- Complete balance sheet and income statement reconciliations for revenue and accounts receivable accounts.
- Coordinate suspension of services and late fee invoices for outstanding accounts
- Prepare Reconciliations of Avalara balances (sales tax software) monthly related to Sales Tax calculations in Canada & USA.
- Calculation of Sales Tax liability. File GST monthly as per Avalara reconciliation.
- Importing new sales information from Salesforce (Sales Software) ensuring systems integrate correctly and output is accurate as per local legislation/contracts.
- Generate Invoices for New Sales, Renewals and amendments as required on systems
- Post journals to record Churns/cancellations/bad debt etc. in SaaS Optics (AR Software) and Intacct (accounting Software).
- Conduct month-end process related to order to cash (including but not limited to revenue entries, and accounts receivable entries) in Sage Intacct,

**Requirement**
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience doing the above duties.
- Minimum education Qualification: Batchelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce.
- Intermediate Excel skills (must be able to conduct reporting and reconciliations in Excel using v lookups and pivot tables)
- Working towards CPA of equivalent is a bonus.
- Outstanding attention to detail within their work
- Able to hold themselves accountable to their deliverables
- Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
- Multi-currency / Multi-country experience is preferred
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Avalara, and Saas Optics is an asset
- Experience in the tech/software industry is an asset

**Wage - **$81,250 CAD per annum
