Join Destination Canada as our next **Corporate Communications Specialist**, where you'll play a pivotal role in both media relations and industry communications. This role demands strong communication skills and adaptability, with proficiency required in both digital and traditional media platforms.
In addition to working on proactive media campaigns, you will also play a crucial support role in crisis communications and building and maintaining relationships with key sector stakeholders.
Supporting industry communications, the successful applicant will work on data-led communications and presentations, contribute to communication plans for our events, represent Destination Canada at events where media are invited, and liaise with partners on joint partner initiatives and their respective communications.
**EDUCATION**: Graduation from a recognized university in Communications or Public Relations, or an acceptable and proven combination of education, training and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in communications roles
- Experience developing and implementing communications plans and projects
- Experience engaging with researchers and data analysts, and/or working with institutions or think tanks in the field of research and analysis is an asset.
- Experience working with media

Joignez-vous à Destination Canada en tant que **spécialiste des communications institutionnelles** et jouez un rôle crucial dans nos relations avec les médias et nos communications avec l’industrie. Ce poste requiert d’excellentes compétences en communication, une solide capacité d’adaptation ainsi qu’une maîtrise des plateformes médiatiques numériques et traditionnelles.
En plus de travailler sur des campagnes médiatiques proactives, vous jouerez un rôle de soutien important dans la communication en situation de crise et bâtirez des relations avec des intervenants clés du secteur.

La personne idéale pour ce poste a contribué à des campagnes médiatiques fructueuses, possède une compréhension approfondie du paysage médiatique actuel et sait travailler sous pression et respecter des échéances serrées. De solides compétences en matière d’expression orale et écrite sont essentielles, de même que la créativité et la réflexion stratégique pour élaborer des récits convaincants.
