We are seeking a warm, patient, and fluent **Italian-speaking compassionate support worker**to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in various settings, including nursing homes, hospice care, and private residences. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities. **Responsibilities**
- Engage in regular, meaningful conversation in Italian
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
- Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Collaborate with other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in **Italian**(spoken); English proficiency also required
- Previous experience in senior care, nursing home, or hospice care is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and medication administration.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Certification in caregiving or related fields is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
